Guidelines Leinsweiler Summer Zouk 2025

Weekend Event Guidelines

Welcome! We’re excited to share a wonderful weekend filled with dancing, community, and connection. To ensure everyone’s comfort and safety, please familiarize yourself with these important guidelines. These guidelines are to make our event inclusive and welcoming. Please adhere to them to ensure everyone has an enjoyable experience.

Respect, Safety & Awareness

Wine is part of our local culture, and we encourage you to enjoy it responsibly. Overconsumption that leads to unsafe, disrespectful, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

The same applies to any form of harassment or unwanted physical contact.

Our organizing team reserves the right to step in if behavior becomes unsafe. In serious cases, this may mean asking someone to leave a specific activity—or the entire event—without a refund.

If you experience or witness inappropriate behavior, please report it discreetly to our awareness team (in person or by phone). Your concerns will be handled respectfully and confidentially.

Dance Etiquette & Feedback

Social dances are for enjoyment, relaxation, and connection.
Please avoid giving unsolicited feedback or criticism unless it’s clearly requested—or necessary for safety. Keep interactions polite and kind.

Asking & Accepting Dances

It’s always okay to decline a dance politely—no explanation needed.
At the same time, please make an effort to dance with a variety of people, including beginners who may feel shy or nervous. Avoid waiting only for certain partners.

Personal Hygiene

Since dancing involves close contact, maintain good hygiene:
– Shower
– Use deodorant (avoid strong perfumes)
– Wear freshly washed clothes
– Brush your teeth and use mints if necessary

Consent & boundaries

Social dancing is about mutual enjoyment. Consent is key.
If you’re unsure whether your partner is comfortable, ask.
Always respect boundaries—both verbal and non-verbal.
If your partner seems uncomfortable with close contact, adjust to a more open position.
For deeper understanding, you can explore the Wheel of Consent.

Photography and Videography

Photos and videos may be taken during the event for social media and promotion.
If you do not wish to appear, please let us know in advance.
By attending, you agree to the possibility of being photographed or filmed.

Thank you for helping us keep this a safe, inclusive, and joyful space.
Let’s create an unforgettable weekend together—filled with music, movement, and community.
